New to Epiphany?
Welcome to Epiphany — We’re glad you’re here!
A word on Welcome
The People and Clergy of Epiphany strongly believe that welcome is at the heart of the Gospel. Where ever you are in your journey you are welcome to be part of this community. Finding your way among us is something we recognize you will do at your own pace, and in your own way. Our invitation to Worship and Work with us in an apt description of where we find ourselves as a community of faith. We hope our Website is just a glimmer of what you will find when you come to visit.
We are glad you have found your way to our website, and we hope it is informative. If you have questions, or would like to talk to one of the clergy, the Rev. Benno D. Pattison, Rector, or the Rev. Dr. Sharon Hiers, Senior Associate Rector, we would welcome an email or phone call (404.373.8338). Don't hesitate to email or call the parish office at 404.373.8338 if you have further questions.
If you haven’t visited us yet, a good place to start is the Sunday Morning Worship page. We h ope that it will guide you to a starting place in our communcal worship.
If you are looking to become more involved, but feel unsure about where to jump in, then take a look at our Ministries & Programs page. Everything from the Art Ministry to Stewardship is listed. Engaging in one of our smaller group ministries is a great way to get connected to our parish community.
Just for Newcomers
Newcomers’ Adult Education Class
During the program year (Sept. - May), join us Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. around the organ, in the church, for a series of informal discussions especially for newcomers. Each week, we will take up an aspect of Epiphany's three-fold mission of welcome, worship, and work! Every four weeks, the series will repeat. So if you can't attend each session, join us for the next rotation! And please introduce yourself to one of the clergy.
We also encourage all prospective members to attend one of our Newcomers’ dessert held quarterly at the home of the rector. At these gatherings, parishioners join clergy, and the vestry of our parish in coversation about Epiphany, its programs, and ways to get involved in both giving and receiving the love of Christ.
