The Stewardship Committee, along with providing our "You Are Invited Articles" in the parish newsletter, The Epiphany Star, has also put together a blog!

We are including all of the Star articles, along with a few more written by the committee members. (We have the policy of everything on every channel, and we don't want you to miss out!)

The "You Are Invited" series of interviews with all of the "stewards" of Epiphany will begin in May, so make sure you stay tuned. The blog is located at youareinvited.info - and can also be linked from the weekly e-blast.

Come visit and read. Add your thoughts in the comments section.

You are invited.

Ways to Give

Epiphany operates primarily on the faithful giving of our members. This can be in form of cash offerings, fulfillment of a pledge and/or a planned gift. Any contribution is most welcomed, and all gifts are important to the work of the church.

Thank you for your generosity and willingness to support the ministries of The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Because it is a known amount, contributions in the form of a pledge help us make informed budget decisions on our operating expenses and our commitments to ministries, fellowships, education classes, community programs and other activities.

Online Giving

Online Giving through the use of a credit card, debit card, or by electronic debit from your checking or savings account is now available on Access ACS. Access ACS is a restricted, online version of our church database. Donor information is kept secure and private with password-protected online access.

Anyone can give one-time donations to specific causes or ministries and church members can setup recurring donations, including your annual pledge, in personalized increments (e.g. weekly, bi-monthly, monthly) by logging into Access ACS and choosing ‘Give Now.’

The online giving system is linked to our church accounting software, so you can view transaction histories whenever you login; however, note that our bookkeeper posts these transactions weekly. You will also continue to receive quarterly and end of year statements. First time users of Access ACS will need to register.

Cash or Personal Check

You can give by cash or check during our worship services. Please make checks out to 'Church of the Epiphany.'

If you are giving cash, please make sure to use a contribution envelope so that we can acknowledge your gift in your contribution statement. Envelopes can be found in the tract racks by the front door.

Bill Pay

Contact your bank and let them know that you would like to set up a recurring payment to The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. You will need to provide them with the amount, our address, and the date(s) in which you would like these payments made. A check will be automatically drafted to Epiphany from your bank.

Text to Give

You can text to give from your mobile device. Text GIVE2COE to 73256 to give via text. You can add the dollar amount to your text or type it in once you’re connected. Example: “GIVE2COE $50” indicates you wish to make a $50 gift. You will receive a response with a link to a secure page online to complete your gift. First time texters must confirm their account and payment method, then follow the text prompts to completion. Standard text messaging rates may apply.

Stock Transfer

Parishioners may wish to make tax deductible donations of appreciated securities to Epiphany. This form of giving offers several tax benefits to the donor. In this situation, Epiphany receives the full value of the securities less commissions and fees at the time of the donation, and the donor avoids paying capital gains tax that would otherwise be incurred if the securities were sold for cash. Consult the IRS or your tax advisor for further details.

Planned Giving

Planned giving is a term that describes the thoughtful designation of a gift that will be made some time in the future, usually at the end of the donor’s life. Planned gifts offer a way for Epiphany to address needs beyond those contained in the annual budget. When members remember Epiphany in their wills, trusts, retirement accounts, life insurance designations, or other assets, they are providing support to Epiphany’s mission and ministries in the future.
